The Speedy Man was founded in February 2011 by Djimy Alexandre. Djimy's childhood was spent in his native country of Haiti. He came to the United States in October 2003 and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in a ceremony conducted by the United States District Court Of Massachusetts in Boston, MA on February 18, 2009.

He made a living by delivering 400 daily newspapers, rain or shine, to subscribers in North Easton, MA and Stoughton, MA between April 2005 and September 2007. Djimy knew then that he was meant to be on the open road.

He felt heartbroken when it came to be time to resign from his position in Fall 2007 to completely focus on his education at Bridgewater State University. He was awarded a Bachelors of Science in Finance on May 16, 2009.

After graduation, he became a self-investor and offers professional courier service to World Courier Ground and Airport Courier Service. He's been to Lancaster, PA, Rochester, NY, Washington, DC, in addition to numerous other towns across New England.

He later realized that Shippers desperately need a safe, reliable, professional delivery service company who operate as first respondents and are "ready to jump as soon as the phone rings". He associates himself with a group of close friends who share similar values in the transportation industry to rise to meet that challenge.
